About the Role In this role, you will provide strategic development and execution of a third-party business continuity program that enables our company's business operations to continue following any disruption. You will need to be customer curious to create a framework of preparation, response, and recovery from potential threats to Gap Inc. You'll need to understand the big picture strategy and work with cross-functional teams across the company and external partners.
What You'll Do - Lead development and implementation of a Third-Party Business Continuity Planning framework that ensures our most critical vendors can continue to support our business through any disruption.
- Collaborate with Business Continuity team to ensure internal BC Plans are built for our most critical third parties and mitigate risk.
- Ensure major third-party BC risks with mitigation recommendations are escalated to appropriate leadership.
- Develop and perform a review process for third-party Business Continuity Plans.
- Develop a process to ensure Business Continuity is addressed in the vendor on-boarding process.
- Collaborate with Technology Operations and Information Security to ensure third-party BC assessments are aligned with Disaster Recovery and Information Security assessments.
- Contribute to Business Continuity related policy and standards development.
- Aid the Business Continuity team in rollout of overall BC program including, but not limited to BIA implementation and BC Plan development.
- Develop appropriate program metrics and report on progress.
- Build internal partnerships that enable for the reduction of our vendor risk profile.
- Partner with internal business functions to tier third-party vendors.
- Provide in-depth Business Continuity training and guidance to business function leaders and their teams.
- Partner with BC Planning tool vendor to integrate third-party BC framework into the tool (Fusion Risk Management) and ensure appropriate functionality is available.
- Provide regular updates to leaders on the status of the overall program and review recommendations and implement modifications to the program.
- Provide support to the Business Continuity team in the event of a disruptive event activating our Incident Management program.
Who You Are - Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Professional certification in Business Continuity (ex. CBCP, MBCP, MBCI) is highly desirable
- Previous experience developing and implementing third-party Business Continuity frameworks and programs.
- Previous user or admin experience with the Fusion Risk Management planning tool or an equivalent.
- Experience in building and facilitating trainings and exercises with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing disruptive events with a cross-functional team.
- Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others.
- Must be flexible and self-aware in group situations and able to remain calm under stressful moments.
- Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make sound judgements and recommend solutions.
- Comfortable with interactions at all employee levels and emphasizes relationship building.
- Proactive and consultative ability to seek and understand risks across different business areas.
- Ability to innovate and execute initiatives independently and prioritize based on shifting risk factors and business priorities.
- Excellent planning, organizational and customer centric skills.

Salary Range: $114,200 - $151,300 USD
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.
