Join our dynamic team as a Local Truck Driver and enjoy the benefit of being home daily! Our company is looking for dedicated individuals to ensure the timely and secure transport of goods utilizing punctuality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely and efficiently to various local destinations.
• Verify and document delivery details accurately to maintain comprehensive records.
• Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to maintain vehicle readiness.
• Ensure cargo is secure and handled with care during transit and upon delivery.
• Interact professionally with clients and colleagues maintaining a customerfirst attitude.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and DOT regulations while operating the vehicle.
• Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2year experience as a CDL truck driver.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic patterns and highways.
• Ability to work flexible hours including potential night shifts.
• Physical ability to load/unload cargo and operate a hand truck.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Working Conditions

• MonFri running nights will either start running FedEx freight pulling doubles or Prairie Farm Milk no physical labor.
• Doubles endorsement or experience isnt required to apply
• Drivers are home daily.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate with opportunities for overtime performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits including healthcare retirement plans and paid time off. Valid CDL and one year of experience in local driving required for consideration.
