About the position...

This position will be collaborating with our Construction, Property Management, and Investment team to learn and assist with tasks related to the company's financial operation. This position will be located at our Corporate Office in Harrisburg, PA and will afford the opportunity to learn first-hand accounting and finance related skills.

• Assist the Senior Construction Accountant with Credit Card statement and supporting documentation tracking.
• Collaborates with the CST Controller with exporting job cost reports for ownership reporting.
• Assist the Job Cost Accountant with maintaining monthly closeouts in Yardi system.
• Assist the PMG and CST Accounting department with other ad-hoc projects as needed
• Involvement with various daily activities, such as recording receipts, charges, and report generation.
• Assists with month-end close activities and quarterly account reconciliations as well as rolling forward select year-end preparation files.
• Collaborates on various projects, such as library/folder organization within SharePoint, and utilization of Smartsheet for applicable accounting processes.
• Assists in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements for certain entities.
• Assists in analyzing and maintaining organization/tracking of outside financial statements and budget reports by date.
• Reviews Quarterly Debt Maturity Schedule prepared by Debt and Financial Analyst with Sr. Investment Accountant.

Requirements

What we are looking for from you...

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Completion of first year is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to communicate calmly, clearly, and professionally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines when required and maintain a level of consistency & accuracy in output
• Must have a valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
