We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in East Providence, RI. The Field Service Technician installs, inspects and services company equipment assuring product performance, addresses and resolves questions and problems regarding products, and conducts training and service programs in the operation and maintenance of products. Technician will be provided with tools & a vehicle for work related travel. Extensive travel throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, with the entirety of North America possible. Requires high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3 to 5 years of technical experience.
Industry-specific certifications a plus; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
The position may on occasion require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes or work boots, etc.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, customer specifications, warranties, company standards, and operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, the ability to operate electronic testing equipment, the ability to travel, and the ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics. Work may involve international travel.
Requires the ability to operate a variety of standard office machines, to include a computer, telephone, fax, copier, etc.

The position is a travel-based position with visits to customers and work sites in the field. The employee regularly performs work-related travel, which may include travel outside of the country.
