Supervisory Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Crew: Assist team leads with various tasks to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Outdoor Setup: Unload and set up materials like cones, signs, and posts to prepare work zones for action.
- Precision Layout: Measure and mark construction areas, ensuring everything is perfectly aligned.
- Toolmaster: Prepare and maintain tools and materials for installation, making sure everything is in top shape.
- Jobsite Prep: Dig post holes, erect signs, and clean up debris to keep the site organized and safe.
- Tool Operator: Get hands-on with a variety of hand and power tools to complete your tasks.
- Traffic Control: Safely direct traffic around work zones, keeping everyone safe and moving.
- End-of-Day Hero: Clean up the site, ensuring everything is stored properly and the area is left spotless.
- Stay Sharp: Receive calls and drive company vehicles to different locations, always ready to tackle the next challenge.

- Lead the Charge: Oversee and manage the work of Leads and Technicians, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and on schedule.

Operations Manager – Drive Success in the Great Outdoors!

As our Operations Manager, you’ll be at the helm of our outdoor operations, driving success and ensuring our teams deliver outstanding results. You’ll oversee multiple departments, implement policies that improve efficiency, and lead our company to new heights. This is a role for someone who’s ready to take charge and make a significant impact.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Leadership: Establish metrics, guidelines, and standards to evaluate and improve the company’s efficiency and effectiveness.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple departments, ensuring all goals are met and exceeded.
- Budget Management: Plan, direct, and control budgets to achieve financial objectives, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Team Development: Lead, train, and develop staff across departments, ensuring they have the skills and support they need to succeed.
- Oversees the work and activities of Leads, as assigned.
- Maintain time sheets and accurately inputting time and attendance data.
- Hires and trains field department staff.
- Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of field department staff.
- Assists with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Maintain customer, contact, reference number information and accurately inputting data.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Additional Duties:
- The duties of a Supervisor plus the following.
- Establishes quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated; identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
- Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
- Oversees manufacturing, purchasing, and sales departments, ensuring each is reaching goals set by regional and company leadership.
- Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of sales in each division to achieve financial objectives.
- Communicates and explains new directives, policies, or procedures to managers; for major changes, meets with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
- Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
